Cancellation Policy
Cancelling a Meridian subscription.
This policy explains how recurring Meridian subscriptions can be cancelled, when cancellation takes effect, and how cancellation affects access, renewals and refunds.
Last updated: July 2026
This policy should be read together with Meridian’s Terms and Privacy Policy.
Policy summary
Cancel at any time
A subscriber may request cancellation at any time before the next scheduled renewal.
Effect of cancellation
Cancellation prevents the subscription from renewing for another billing period.
Remaining access
Unless otherwise stated, access continues until the end of the billing period already paid for.
Refunds
Refunds are handled under this policy and any rights that apply under the Australian Consumer Law.
How to cancel
A subscriber may cancel through the subscription-management link provided in their confirmation or billing email.
If that link is unavailable, the subscriber may submit a cancellation request through Meridian’s contact form using the email address associated with the subscription.
Subscription-management portal: [INSERT CUSTOMER PORTAL URL OR “LINK PROVIDED BY EMAIL”]
Contact form: here
Support email: support@meridianallocation.com
Meridian may ask the subscriber to verify control of the email address associated with the subscription before processing a cancellation request.
Do not ask subscribers to provide passwords, full card numbers or other sensitive payment information.
Effective date of cancellation
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the subscriber’s current paid billing period unless Meridian confirms an earlier date.
After cancellation is processed:
no further automatic renewal should occur
access ordinarily remains available until the end of the current paid period
previously paid charges are not automatically reversed
the subscriber may continue to receive essential account, billing or legal communications
A cancellation request submitted after a renewal payment has already been processed may apply to the following renewal period, subject to any refund rights described below.
Renewal and billing
Meridian subscriptions renew automatically at the billing interval selected during checkout unless cancelled before the next renewal date.
Current billing options: Monthly
The price, billing interval and renewal terms are displayed before checkout.
Subscribers are responsible for cancelling before the next scheduled renewal if they do not want the subscription to continue.
If Meridian changes the subscription price or other material renewal terms, subscribers will be notified in accordance with the Terms and applicable law before the change takes effect.
Access to research
Unless Meridian states otherwise, cancelling a subscription does not immediately remove access that has already been paid for.
Access continues until: THE END OF THE CURRENT PAID BILLING PERIOD
After that date, access to subscriber-only packets, archives or other paid material may end.
Cancellation does not grant an ongoing right to retain, redistribute or republish Meridian material beyond any rights expressly provided under the Terms.
Refunds
Meridian does not ordinarily provide a refund or partial refund merely because a subscriber changes their mind, does not use the service, or cancels before the end of a billing period.
This does not exclude or restrict any remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights that may apply under the Australian Consumer Law.
A refund, credit or other remedy may be considered where:
Meridian has charged the subscriber incorrectly
a duplicate payment has been processed
Meridian has failed to provide a material part of the paid service
a refund or other remedy is required by law
Meridian determines that exceptional circumstances justify a discretionary remedy
Requests should include:
the subscriber’s name
the email address associated with the subscription
the payment date
a brief description of the issue
Please do not send sensitive information
Do not ask users to provide full card numbers, passwords or account credentials.
Incorrect or unrecognised charges
Subscribers who believe they have been charged incorrectly should contact Meridian promptly.
Meridian will review the subscription and payment records and may request reasonable information needed to identify the transaction.

Contacting Meridian does not prevent a subscriber from exercising any rights available through their payment provider or under applicable law.
If Meridian changes or ends the service
Meridian may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the subscription service where reasonably necessary.
If Meridian permanently discontinues a paid service before the end of a subscriber’s paid billing period, Meridian will assess whether continued access, a replacement service, an account credit, a partial refund or another remedy is appropriate.
Nothing in this section excludes any remedy required under applicable consumer law.
Cancellation or suspension by Meridian
Meridian may suspend or cancel a subscription where reasonably necessary, including where:
payment cannot be completed
the subscriber materially breaches the Terms
access credentials are shared or misused
Meridian is required to act by law or a service provider
continuing the subscription creates a security, regulatory or operational risk
Where reasonably practicable, Meridian will explain the reason and effective date.
Any refund or continued-access entitlement will depend on the circumstances, the Terms and applicable law.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
Where Meridian’s services fail to comply with an applicable consumer guarantee, the subscriber may be entitled to a remedy depending on the nature and seriousness of the failure.
Request cancellation or billing support
Use the contact form for cancellation requests, billing questions or problems accessing the subscription-management portal.
Submitting a cancellation request shortly before a renewal date may not prevent a charge that has already entered processing.
Subscribers should retain their cancellation confirmation and relevant billing emails for their records.
